Victor, originally from Venezuela, holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA. He began his career in 1997 at Baker Hughes, where he worked in the Latin American group until 2005, during which time he established strong relationships across several countries. Later, he transferred to Dallas and played a key role in the shale revolution. At Baker Hughes, Victor managed a $1 billion P&L business in the Permian Basin, Eagle Ford, and Haynesville Shales. After 21 years, he became COO at Point Energy Partners, where he boosted production from about 250 BOE/D to over 35,000 BOE/D. His expertise allowed him to implement best practices and optimize operations. Under his leadership, the company's valuation increased from $80 million in 2018 to $1.1 billion by the time of its acquisition in 2024. Victor aims to continue to support energy initiatives.
